These two days are part 1 of the five-day course. Participants will also be required to register and attend part 2, the follow-up three-day course, at a date and location agreed on by participants later in the year.
Participants will learn about the Big Picture design for learning and will be introduced to the BPEA Distinguishers which set out how to implement the design.
The course will also explore Personalised Learning Plans, Projects, Learning Through Internship, Assessment via Exhibition, the International Big Picture Learning Credential (IBPLC) for senior students and building the culture of an Advisory which is the basic unit of a Big Picture learning community.
This program is suitable for:
- teachers who are currently involved in Big Picture schools
- staff of Big Picture schools interested in learning about BPEA design principles from an advisor/teacher perspective.
It will be a fabulous opportunity to meet, network and learn from advisors from other Big Picture schools.
Registration covers catering each day including morning tea and lunch, and all course materials and resources.
PLEASE NOTE: The dates of this event have been updated. Part 1 (2 days) of Foundation Training is Thursday, 5th May - Friday, 6th May, Part 2 (3 days) will be decided later in the year.
