Is your school interested in transforming the way education and learning is organised?
Are you keen to explore how the Big Picture Learning Design can:
re-engage young people with learning,
build positive relationships, and
prepare students uncommonly well for life after school?
BPLA invites interested Teachers, Leaders, and Administrators to join us for a day-long introduction to Big Picture Learning and explore the profound change of approach to student learning, school structure and culture.
The day will give participants an opportunity to:
- Hear from leaders of the work including Co-founder John Hogan and WA Coordinator Brooke Burns.
- Listen to stories from principals, teachers and students currently implementing the design across Australia.
- Consider the possibilities that implementing the design offers to schools, students, families, and communities.
- Learn about our International Big Picture Learning Credential warranted by the University of Melbourne.
- Find out how BPLA works with schools to support the implementation of BPL which will include an overview of the Exploring School phase.
- Develop networks of like-minded professionals interested in the future of education.
