BPLA WA End-of-year Network Event 2024

Big Picture Learning Australia would like to extend an invitation to its Western Australian schools to join us for our end-of-year Network Day.

“Teachers and leaders are learners too.”

Teachers and leaders in Big Picture schools and programs regularly attend to new ideas and learn new ways of working. They develop reflective practice and find ways of sharing this learning with others.

With that in mind, we invite Advisory Teachers, support staff, and leaders to join us for our end-of-year networking event. We will share and celebrate the highlights of BPL in each of your contexts and spend time considering and reflecting on the strength of implementation of the design. There will be opportunities to network and gain insights into the ways others deal with the things that you may be grappling with.

Implementing the design “all of it, all the way through, all of the time’ requires those involved to be close to the work, to collaborate intentionally and to view their work and interactions through the lens of the BPL design. This event provides a chance for you to bring your team together to round out the year, lean on the network of BPL educators here in WA and to solidify your next “Big Shift” within the BPL design. We encourage school’s to send at least a couple of members of the BPL team and warmly welcome the attendance of leaders as many people as each school wishes to send.

This event will be facilitated by WA Coordinator and Coach Brooke Burns and WA School Coach Eric Radice. The event will mark the second of its kind in celebrating the success of BPLA across WA.
