Good news day for Big Picture schools
Big Picture schools and students yesterday featured in two news articles published by Fairfax and News Limited.
The Newcastle Herald ran a story on Cooks Hill Campus titled "Campus helps Rhiannon find her purpose at school" and News Limited reported on St Johns Park High School and Big Picture in "Fair Go For The West: Three year study leads to new model to improve learning outcomes for students".
Both articles detail the success and promise of the Big Picture design and refer to Big Picture Education's recent Origin Foundation funded three-year research project, conducted by Professor Barry Down from Murdoch University and Associate Professor Debra Hayes from the University of Sydney. The research can be accessed here.
